Well I'm still plugging away at my story after having to change midway but I don't know if I'm going to make it to the finish line. That should bother me a lot but it doesn't and I think I know why. Right now I have a friend that there partner is in the hospital, my roommate's Dad is in hospital and might not live to see New Year's, and I'm waiting to hear from my doctor about my foot. Of the three the last I'm not so concerned about right at the moment as I am about the first two but i hope everyone understands why I'm not shattered over not finishing my story.

Don't get me wrong I entered fully intending to finish or come close to the 50k but when real life rears it's head to can't turn your back to it. Yeah, yeah, yeah Stephen Fry didn't cover it in his book but I'm sure it was a chapter that might have been thrown on the floor.

Now I just have to find out how another friend did, he's a real House nut but I don't think he's doing a fanfic, as I hear from him at the start of this whole thing.

Well after reading Stephen Fry's The Ode Less Travelled: Unlocking the Poet within I decided to enter NaNoWriMo. Yeah I know after being slapped around by others readers I would shy away but I'm going to do it! I know I'm not going to write a poem but I have a strong feeling that I must do this. At this point I just feel the need to start and finish a story that I like. I know I will ask a few of you to read it when I'm done but right now it's just getting it down on the page. So please wish me luck and let me know if you would like to see what I end up writting. Wish me luck.

Well I’m in the drawer and I’m not angry at all. I was able to finish the story and got the nerve to send it up to be judged. Okay yeah it was voted the worst but because most couldn’t see Ianto with a teenage daughter. Understand we were limited to five hundred words and I could have used more lol. Funny enough I want to spill the beans on the plot but I won’t and just let you all read it. Any way please keep your eyes on Writer In A Drawer there are some wonderful writers still in the running.
